Uttarakhand State Commission for Women

In pursuance of provisions of clause (3) of article 348 of Constitution of India, the Governor is pleased to order the publication of the Uttrakhand state Commission for Women Act 2005 (Uttrakhand Adhiniyam Sankhya 28 of 2005)

It extends to whole state of the Uttrakhand

Uttrakand State Women Commission is a State body for protecting and promoting the interest of women female foeticide, child marriage, sexual harassment, discrimination and atrocities against women. Legal advice etc.
