1. Uttarakhand Women & Child Development Society has established “State Project Management Unit” to manage, guide and implement various projects.
2. Uttarakhand Mahila Samekit Vikas Yojna is being implemented by the Society under the guidance & supervision of State Project Management Unit.

ACTIVITIES OF UWCDS

1. World Bank & IFAD assisted SWA-SHAKTI project 2002- 2005.
2. Uttarakhand Mahila Samekit Vikas Yojna (UMSVY) since 2003-04 to till date.
3. Fund Management of Bal Nidhi.

ACTIVITIES - AADI BHOG PARIYOJNA (2010-11)

• Aadibhog Pariyojna has been launched in CharDham - Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri & Yamnotri.
• Under the project : 4 units are being established

1.  Ladoos unit from locally available crops
2. Basket Unit from Ringal
3. Dhoop Unit from Scented material
4. Stone painting unit 

OTHER ACTIVITIES

1. Concurrent Monitoring of various projects have been done by AFC upto F.Y.2007.
2. New monitoring agency named "NH consulting Pvt. Ltd" being selected for onwards concurred monitoring of on going projects.
3. Assessment of Housing Needs of Working Women: Study shows hostel needs of working women in Dehradun, U.S Nagar & Haridwar districts.
4. National Mission for Empowerment of women scheme to be implemented under the society.

ACTIVITIES – FUND MANAGEMENT OF BAL NIDHI

1. Grant received rupees 1 crore in the year 2006-07 under the Bal Kalyan Nidhi.
2. Released an amount of rupees 3,87,500.00 (Rupees Three lakh Eighty seven thousand Five hundred only) to Uttarakhand Rajya Bal Kalyan Parishad in 2007.
3. Released amount rupees 1 lakh to Uttarakhand Rajya Bal Kalyan Parishad for hosting the programme Learn to Live Together in 2008.
